OYO STATE ASSEMBLY PASSES THREE (3) AMENDED
BILLS INTO LAW

The Oyo State House of Assembly passed three Amended bills into law,The bills Composes the Oyo State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board Bill, 2021,And Also Oyo State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Bill 2021,Infrastructure Maintenance and Control Agency (Amendment) Bill, 2021.

The three (3) bills were passed following the presentations of the reports of the Ad-hoc Committee that considered them clause by clause And Debate on the Most Perfection that will lead the State Forward.

Hon Oluwafemi Oluwafowokanmi read the report of Ad-hoc Committee that considered the Oyo State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board and Figure out The Important ideation the speaker should consider on.

Hon Ademola Abdul Rasaq presented the report of Ad-hoc Committee that considered Oyo State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board

Finally presided over the plenary said than “the amendment of the Laws establishing the Muslim and Christian Pilgrims Welfare Boards was part of efforts of The Executive Governor of Oyo state Engr.Oluwaseyi Makinde to restructure Ministries and Government Agencies.
Makinde Led Administration has Concluded several restructuring projects in the state”

“The Speaker Also added that With the passage, of the Amended Bills we now have two separate Boards and their functions and proceedings have been captured And hence forth the Two Boards will Continue Exist and operate for the Good Of our People.”

Hon Adebo Ogundoyin Address that “the Infrastructure Maintenance and Control Agency Law,the amendment was meant to widen and expand the scope of operation of the Agency to uplift

Hon Ogundoyin stated that it will further assist in the revenue generation drive of the Agency and ultimately increase the IGR of Oyo State which will also Keep The Board functional to boost The state Infrastructural Developments.
