PRESIDENT MUHAMMAD BUHARI COMMISSIONED FOUR CAPITAL PROJECTS AT IMO STATE.

Yesterday the President Of The Federal Republic of Nigeria Muhammad Buhari commissioned four projects executed by Governor Hope Uzodinma, including the Naze/Ihiagwa/Nekede/Obinze link road, the Balloon Driven/Flood Control drainage at Dick Tiger Road, the Egbeada Bypass road and the New Exco-Chambers, Government House, Owerri.

The President Was firmly welcomed by the People of IMO state( south south)
While Addressing Imo residents at the commissioning of Egbeada bypass named after a prominent son of the State, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, the President said he was very impressed with the level of work done by the State government.

‘‘I am very pleased with what I have seen and I assure you that I will support Imo State within the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,’’ he said.

In his remarks at the town hall meeting, Governor Uzodinma said Ndigbo believe in a united Nigeria predicated on ‘‘justice, equity and fairness.’’

He thanked the President for addressing the interests of Ndi Igbo through deliberate policy initiatives designed to give the people a true sense of belonging, including the ongoing construction of the 2nd Niger Bridge, among others.

Governor Uzodinma said the people of South East would remain grateful to the President for approving the establishment of a Naval Base in Oguta Local Government Area of the State, adding that as time unfolds, the economic benefits of the base would manifest.

The Governor also commended the President for strongly supporting the appointment of two prominent Igbos into two key international organisations-Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu, Assistant Director-General of Health Emergency Intelligence, World Health Organisation (WHO).

In his remarks, the President-General, Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Prof. George Obiozor assured the President of the continuous support of Ndigbo.

A statement by The Press media And Publicity Femi Adesina noted that ‘‘Ndigbo are committed to Nigerian unity and there is news for those trying to push us out of Nigeria.

‘‘Ndigbo in Nigeria are like fish in the ocean and no matter how rough the storm is, it cannot drive the fish out of the ocean.

‘‘Mr President, it is in this context, that we see a new dawn in your distinguished presence in Igbo land and believe that on your return to Abuja the significance and substance of this visit will form new foundation of a platform for meaningful dialogue on critical issues of concern to the Igbo nation,’’ he said.

IBARAPA EAST CONSTITUENCY STUDENTS BENEFITS 10,000,FROM OYO SPEAKER QUARTERLY BURSARY EDUCATION SUPPORT PROGRAM

Its a new dawn for the Students of ibarapa east Constituency as Another 100 Students benefit from Oyo Speaker’s Quarterly Bursary Educational Support Program,As he promised early that”Education remains the bedrock of Every society I assured you all that I will surely ease Education for our youths So that the poor will enjoy free education”.

The Speaker Oyo State House of Assembly, RT.HON ADEBO OGUNDOYIN yesterday presented #10,000 cash to another set of one hundred students drawn from Ibarapa East Stare Constituency,Which Serve as another mode of achievement and Progress for Education in our Constituency The Speaker has always been focusing on every sector to ensure youths empowerment And Youths support as youth remain the Backbone of All society.

The event held at Eruwa Town Hall, Eruwa was the second bursary award program by the Speaker in the year,The Speaker said the “bursary award was part of his Education Support Initiative aimed at boosting the morale of youth in his Constituency especially in terms of their educational pursuits And Surely will give more courage and motivations to our students to add more efforts to ensure they study hard so as to become a good ambassador”.

The Speaker also added that “Education is no doubt the bedrock of socio-economic development of a nation. It is critical and pivotal hence all hands must be on deck to encourage our students to give their study all the attention it deserves. I am happy that we are supporting another one hundred students of Ibarapa East descent with cash. We were here in June this year to flag off the Bursary program and now the second set is benefitting. We promised to make it a quarterly affair and to God be the glory”.

” As youth, we are the future hope of any nation. No nation can neglect its youthful population. But I must warn us to avoid drug and substance abuse , cultism, sexual abuse, examination malpractices, internet fraud, kidnappings and armed robberies as these are ungodly activities which could lead anyone to the path of doom. ” He stressed.

In Attendance The Chairman, Water Corporation of Oyo State, Dr Adebayo Adepoju In his remarks “urged the students to strive to reach the pinnacle of their educational careers,Do not see any barrier in your quest to attain success in life. The Speaker’s support is a motivation to you. Burn all night candles so that you can come out in flying colors. We appreciate the Rt Hon Speaker for this gesture. “

It will be recalled that the Speaker Oyo state House of Assembly Rt.Hon Adebo Ogundoyin presented deep freezers and Generators to constituents in the area as a way of boosting their socio-economic activities, Which has supported local Business in the constituents.

Another fourteen people had earlier received Motorcycles while thirty people got twenty-five thousand naira each to support their businesses The speaker has surely Contributed to Humanity endorsement and Youths Empowerment.
